Specs wins Honorable Mention designation
INVISION’s 2016 America’s Finest Optical Retailers!

Specs Around Town in Downtown Bloomington has been awarded one of the nine 2016 “America’s Finest” honorable mentions by INVISION, the magazine for the American Eyecare Professional in its third annual contest.

The America’s Finest Optical Retailers Contest highlights the best examples of independent eyecare retailers in North America and are judged by a panel of optical retail experts on six categories: story, exterior appearance, interior appearance, advertising and marketing, store website and overall individuality.

 “We’re honored to be included with such amazing optical retailers from around the country,” said Julie Kubsch, Owner of Specs Around Town. “At Specs, we pride ourselves on selling the most unique eyewear in Central Illinois using innovative marketing tactics and by providing incredible customer service, so it feels good for our hard work to be recognized as one of Invision’s “America’s Finest!”

Specs Around Town will be featured in the September 2016 issue of INVISION and will be celebrating in store during F1rst Fr1day on from 4-8 p.m. on October 7 with a trunk show featuring Theo Eyewear, refreshments and a chance to win a Theo frame of your choice at 317 N. Center Street in Downtown Bloomington.
